Harvest 2012: A harvest of very small volume, but excellent quality.

The harvest in the Mosel Valley in 2012 was extremly small.

We had an extremly cold winter at the beginning of the year, excessive rain while the vines were in bloom in June, and a cold August. However, the quality of the wine is very promising.

White wines show typical fresh fruit aromas, with crispy liveliness. Red wines are very rich in extracts. A very sunny October meant we had perfect conditions to harvest high class noble rot grapes to produce fine sweet wines. Try VINUM GERMANIA vintage 2012 and see for yourself!
